The New Horizon Youth Theatre company, a project in the CHIPAWO Youth Programme, was very active at one time but various factors led to its collapse. Now it is being revised and aims to be a fulltime professional theatre company. It is about to start rehearsals on a playscript based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Scripted in Shona it is called Rudo neRunyararo [Love and Peace]. It is being developed as part of the CUSP project [Culture for Sustainable and Inclusive Peace] in which CHIPAWO is taking part.
